Vilnius International Rotary Club is the only English speaking Rotary Club in Lithuania and was established in 2003. The Club unifies business men and public figures from different sectors who are seeking to use their knowledge and experience for implementation of support and charity projects. The members of the Club are gathered by inspiration to safeguard support and help for those in society who need it most.
Vilnius International Rotary Club has around 40 members – half foreigners and half Lithuanians - and has higher than average fluctuations due to the membership structure. Often the foreigners membes are people who are in Lithuania permanently with a time limited assignments. The Club has members who are citizents of many countries in Europe with the highest percentage of Nordic people but also from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and UK. Also Vilnius Internationl Rotary Club has members from USA.
