Children House Project

1. Goal of the project

1.1 Short term

The project goal is to help children of 16-18 years after they leave children home. The project idea is to provide business mentoring for above mentioned group of children. Mentorship is children's orientation in the business world and their choice of profession that will aid them in the future to find work. Given today's situation it is a rather challenging task. Short-term objective of the project - work with children in Kaunas children homes.

1.2 Long term

Long term goal of the project is to continue the project collaborating with children homes located in Kaunas, Vilnius and other Lithuanian cities.

 

 

2. Detailed description of the project

It is planned that Rotary clubs will contact children's homes in their cities and offer assistance to children of 16-18 years old leaving the children home. The main idea of the projects is to help children, adolescents who are leaving children home to find a job that is very difficult in today's complicated market situation. Rotary clubs will provide quite various assistance starting from advice giving of career choices till children's orientation in the business world and etc.

 

3. Benefit of the project

Benefit of the project is to help children leaving children home to find a job in today's difficult market situation.

Children leaving children home.

 

5. Budget

Budget for this project is not needed because all the work is knowledge provided through mentoring activity and VITC coordination.

Rotary clubs in these cities where the cooperation with children homes is planned.
